Julee began teaching in 2004 as the outdoor program coordinator at a Montessori farm school in Concord, CA. In 2007 she moved with her family to Thailand where she taught at and helped run a home school collective on a permaculture farm. Later moving to Bangkok, Julee student taught first grade at an IB International School. Last year Julee became certified in Permaculture Design through Santa Cruz Permaculture. She is currently working on her Mindful Educator certificate with Mindful Schools
Cassie received her degree in Environmental Biology from UC Davis in 2002. She taught outdoor science education for eight years at Mission Springs Outdoor Education in Scotts Valley, where she ran a small educational garden. Cassie has a son in 4th grade and a son and daughter in 1st grade at Brook Knoll. She believes the garden classroom provides a unique, multi-sensory setting for student to learn. She looks forward to continuing to develop the Knoll Garden program to enrich our students learning experience at Brook Knoll.
